Preferences Activity and Calendar Settings
Activity Default Values
Activity Selection Box: Use the scroll bar to find and select the activity in which you would like to set a default value.
Category: Tab to this field to select a category (ie: department) for all activities being completed or scheduled. Press the drop-down list box arrow and pick a category for your default setting.
Activity Type: Tab to this field to select the type of activity being completed or scheduled, then press the drop-down list arrow and pick the activity type for your default setting.
Regarding: Tab to this field to select the purpose of the activity being completed or scheduled, then press the drop-down arrow and pick the selection for your default setting.
RSVP: Check this check box to set the RSVP function as a default setting for the activity being scheduled or completed.
Apply: Push this button each time you want to save a default setting.

Calendar Settings
First Day of the Week: The selection made in this drop down box will determine which day of the week appears first in the weekly and monthly activity windows.
Work Days: The number you select in this drop down box will determine which days will be viewed in your weekly and monthly activity windows.
Schedule Priority: This feature allows you to assign a customized color of your choice to represent the priority level you have selected for your scheduled activity. The activity will be highlighted with the color you selected and is viewed in the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Activity windows. Simply click on the priority level you choose to assign a color, then right click and select Background or Foreground. In the color scheme window select a color and click OK .
Completed Activities Color
This feature allows you to choose a color for the completed activities that are viewed in the Completed Activities window. You have the option to customize both the Background and the Foreground .
Other Activity and Calendar Settings
Check for Critical Activities
This check box must be checked for the Wintouch Alarm feature to work. The alarm feature will alert users of all critical activities for which an alarm is set. If Wintouch is open, the server is ready to alert the user within 10 minutes prior to the start time of the activity. This will happen if the proper settings are adjusted correctly. We recommend that the minute(s) parameter be set for every two minutes. This will assure that the activity check will happen within 8 to 10 minutes of the activities start time. Retrieve Activity Log Interval
Use this drop-down list to specify which completed activities are displayed in the activity log. For example if you would like to only show completed activities for the last month in the activity log, select month.
Open Daily Calendar at Start Up
A check in this box sets Wintouch to open with the Daily Activities window, which allows the user to immediately view current activities for the day upon opening Wintouch.
Note: It is recommended to have the Daily Calendar box checked for most users.
Open Summary Window with Scheduled Activity
When this check box is checked, the scheduled activity will open in front of the Account Summary, Contact Summary, or the Stand Alone Profile windows when the activity is opened from the Daily, Weekly, or Monthly activities windows.
Expand Monthly / Weekly Activities Column widths to fit Text
When this check box is checked, Wintouch will adjust the column widths in the Weekly and Monthly activities windows so the text will fit the span of the column. If this box is not checked the columns will be adjusted equally and the text will be cut off.
Window Buttons
Save: Select this button to commit any changes that are made in Wintouch Options Tab.
Cancel: Select this button to cancel out of Wintouch Options Tab. Any changes that were made will not be saved.
