This window will provide the Administrator with a way to delete or copy a customized Wintouch environment's settings. You can access Wintouch Settings Maintenance by selecting Administrator from the Main Desktop menu , then Wintouch Settings Maintenance from the pull-down menu.
Check Boxes
Expand All: When this check box is checked the complete tree menu will be expanded revealing all the folders, sub folders, and items within the folders and sub folders.
Expand Target User after copying/moving: When this check box is checked the target user location will expand when any customization is moved or copied.
Push Buttons
Refresh: This button will save any changes that were made by all the users and refresh the display.
Cancel: Press this button to exit the window without saving any changes or to close the window after the changes were saved by selecting refresh.
Help: Accesses the online help documentation.
In Wintouch Settings Maintenance there are 3 separate levels to which customization settings can be saved, Default , Location , and the User level.
Windows Customizations
- Profiles: This includes the Account and Contact Summary, Account, Contact, Account/Contact Profiles, and Extended Profiles.
- Listings: This includes the Daily and Completed Activities, Extended Profile Listings and the Wintouch Lite Access Log Report.
Toolbar: This includes the Email, Template Editor, and Letter Editor toolbars. In addition, the Main, Account, and Contact Desktop toolbars are stored here.
Preferences: The tabs in the Preferences are set individually here. Wintouch Options, Activity and Calendar Settings, Default Server Settings, Default Window Settings, Default Template Settings, and Search Window Settings tabs are all individually set.
Menubar: Account Summary Desktop, Contact Summary Desktop, Main Menubar.
Reports
- Templates: All Report Listing Templates are stored here.
- Custom Reports: The Custom Report templates are stored here.
- Dashboards: The Dashboard templates are stored here.
Copy To: This option allows the user to copy the selected settings to another user location.
- Custom Report: When you copy a custom report to another location, the related template will be copied as well. If you copy a duplicate custom report or a duplicate template to the same location, you will see a number in parenthesis at the end of the custom report name or template name indicating that there is a duplicate in the same location. For example YTD Sales YTD Sales (1) . You have the option of renaming the custom report or template.
- Dashboard: When the dashboard is copied all the components that constitute the dashboard are copied as well (Custom Report - Template). If you copy a duplicate dashboard to the same location, or if any of the components are duplicates, the name of the dashboard, or the name of the component, will be followed by a number in parenthesis. For example YTD Sales , and YTD Sales (1). You have the option of renaming the dashboard or any of it's components.
Move To: This option allows the user to move the selected settings to another user location.
Rename: This option allows the user to rename Custom Reports, Templates, and Dashboards.
Delete: Selecting this option will delete the selected settings.
Delete from All Users: Selecting this option will delete the selected settings for all the users.
