Adding Sub-Tables

In this activity, we are working with a table that can have a few related sub-tables. If you are unfamiliar with the terminology in this example, please refer to the Table Editor help. For example, when in the Schedule an Activity window, there is a Category drop-down list that affects the Regarding drop-down list AND the Results drop-down list in the Complete An Activity Window. For the following example we will add a sub table.

  1. Right click on the Primary Table Activity Categories , which is defined to have sub-tables (interconnected drop-down lists in the Wintouch interface), and select Add a New Item and Sub-Table .

  2. The Add a New Item window will appear. Enter the name of the new sub table and select the Apply button. For this example we will call the sub table Adding Sub Table.

  3. The new sub table can now be seen in the Activity Categories primary table.
