Preferences Default Server Settings

Default Wintouch Interface Port

This is the port that Wintouch CRM uses to communicate with email clients. This port cannot be used by any other program already running on the computer.

Wintouch Web Server Address

This is the server address that is required for Wintouch Web.

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)

To set up an outgoing mail server, type the name of your SMTP server or IP address in this field.

Email Accounts

Enter email account information for email addresses that Wintouch will be using to send email. Set one of them as a default.

Outgoing Fax Settings

Outgoing Fax Server: To specify or change the outgoing fax server you use for sending faxes, type the address of the fax server.
Number of Fax Attempts: Select a number for the amount of attempts that will be made to send a fax.
Fax Delay Between Attempts: This field is used to establish a delay time that will be set by minutes. This will be the amount of time that will elapse before another fax attempt is made.
Fax CSID: The Called Subscriber Identification (CSID) is a string that identifies a fax as a recipient. It's sent by a fax machine when receiving a fax from a transmitting machine. The CSID is displayed on the sending fax machine, this helps to confirm that the fax is being sent to the correct recipient.
Fax Resolution: Select one of two choices for the fax resolution, fine or standard.

Phone System

Open this drop-down box to select the phone system that you would like Wintouch to use when you select a phone call button. i.e. Pushing the phone button next to a phone number field in the Account Summary will prompt the system you choose here to make a phone call. Skype is an example of a phone system that can be used.

Window Buttons

Save: Select this button to commit any changes that are made in Wintouch Options Tab.
Cancel: Select this button to cancel out of Wintouch Options Tab. Any changes that were made will not be saved.
