Wintouch Console

The Wintouch Console is a debugging tool that will allow you to report any bugs you might find to the Wintouch Support with the click of a button. Any time you notice a glitch in your Wintouch environment, set your options to Show Console, enable debugging and repeat whatever you were doing when the glitch occurred. Once the glitch occurs again, you should find text in the Wintouch Console window displaying all requests to the server and the repsonses received. Use the Send Email to Wintouch Support will send the information displayed in the Wintouch Console to your Wintouch Support Team, who can then interpret the information and fix the bug.

Options

Enable Debugging: Check this box to display the history of ALL requests sent to the server and responses received. When unchecked, only irregular events will be recorded, i.e. exceptions, errors, system outs, etc.
Email Wintouch Support: Press this button to send the history displayed in the Wintouch Console to the Wintouch Support Team so that they can diagnose and fix the bug.
Clear: Press this button to clear the history displayed in the Wintouch Console and start recording again.

Displaying the Wintouch Console

To display the Wintouch Console, Select Options in the Main Desktop Menu, the select Show Console.
