Market Leader Plays Catch Up to Wintouch eCRM

January 11, 2002 – Costa Mesa, CA – Nearly two years before Siebel Systems announced in November 2001 that "Siebel 7 resets the standard for technology leadership in eBusiness applications and is the industry's first and only zero-footprint Web architecture," Touchtone Corporation introduced Wintouch eCRM at the eCRM 2000 Conference and Exhibition in Los Angeles in early April 2000.

Wintouch eCRM is a Java-based solution easily accessed from an IP-based intranet or via the Internet using any Web browser. Wintouch utilizes a zero-footprint, zero-install Java applet on the client-side and software updates are simple and easy from the server-side. Wintouch offers cross-platform, client-independent customer service and support, sales force and marketing automation, and partner relationship management applications accessing IBM iSeries – AS/400 data.

"Drag and drop" customization has been available from the very beginning in Wintouch. Wintouch features custom enterprise GUI screen design and enables individual departments or end users to "drag and drop" fields for additional customization. Screen field "labels" are also easily changed for language localization.

Wintouch provides exceptional security because its database resides on the historically trouble-free IBM iSeries – AS/400 enterprise server. Wintouch native AS/400 software can be easily integrated with existing back-end or homegrown legacy systems to make all information accessible to sales and customer service representatives.
