Activity Log (Log of Scheduled and Completed Activities)

The Activity Log is an organized log of all scheduled and completed activities created for the active account and/or contact. The drop-down list fields at the top of each subdivided frame allow you to filter for very specific activities.

Opening Attached Documents from the Activity Log

If you have attached a document to an activity, you will see a paper clip icon to the left of that activity in the Activity Log. To open the attachment, move your pointer over the paper clip, right click, and then hover your pointer over the Attachments selection. Another menu will open displaying all the documents that are attached by their name. Hover your pointer over the document you wish to open and another menu will open giving you several options. Select Open.

Completing an Activity from the Activity Log Scheduled Activity Pane

  1. To complete an activity from the Activity Log, move your pointer over the small box at the far left of the activity.

  2. Right click on the box and then select Complete this activity. Or simply highlight the activity you wish to complete and double click on it to open the activity and then select the Complete button.

The number of completed activities displayed is dependent on the settings specified in the Preferences window. You can display more activities (one month at a time) by clicking on the Get More button, or you can retrieve all the completed activities by clicking on the Get All button.

Frame Settings and Adjustments

At the mid-point of this window is a subdivision bar which can be used to change what is viewed in the window. When selected, the up and down arrows on the left end of the bar can eliminate either the scheduled or completed activities from view. To view more of the activities from either activity list, hover with the mouse over the bar and drag it up or down. The two separate frames (and their controls) are independent of one another in this window.
